Customized Coating
In addition to the existing standard coatings, NEXTERION® is offering the development of customized coatings to it’s diagnostic partners. This process can be completely adapted to customer requests and may range from feasibility tests to scale up production or technology transfer.
Applying thin-film coatings to glass substrates is one of SCHOTT MINIFAB's core competencies. For trouble shooting as well as for new developments, SCHOTT MINIFAB is equipped with laboratories for molecular biology and protein biochemistry. An interdisciplinary team of scientists, including glass technologists, physicists, biologists and chemists is supporting the development of the surface, which the customer application is requiring.
Production takes place in ISO class 5 (class 100) cleanroom environment. All NEXTERION® products are manufactured according to the most stringent industry standards, guaranteeing that customers receive the highest quality and most reproducible products.
